Hey all,

Bit of a sticky situation going on in EP right now. Here's a synopsis of what's happening (from what I've been able to deduce):
-A few weeks ago, a user named Deep Pockets managed to get into yck's account and acquired passwords for everyone on the server
-In response, yck banned Pockets and changed his own password (I assume)
-Earlier today, Pockets got into xak's account. He's currently using a script to ban everyone on the server faster than I can unban them. To make things worse, he's changed all their usernames and in game names, so restoring everything is going to be a bit of a bitch.
-I've asked yck to temporarily demote all mods other than me, because Pockets has access to the accounts of everyone who hasn't changed their password in the last week or so.
-Once yck gets on and does this, I'll be able to do damage control and restore everything back to normal.

New developments will be posted here. Feel free to use this as a platform to do whatever.

Oh, and changing your password might be a good idea.

RIP in pieces the site is inaccessible. I'm thinking DDoS but I don't know anything about computers.

Yck noted in the forum announcements that he's temporarily taken the site down until the situation is resolved.

the site is restored by backups , but players registered after 4th Mar 2014 still cant login .. : P
